I use the quick respawn time of the monsters to my advantage to get the last of the kills I need for Teroz before returning to the encampment. I hand in the faerie swords to Lillix and tell Teroz of my conquest. Shazahara rests at the campfire at the center of the encampment to restore some stamina and checks her quest log before mounting up and heading north towards the Faerie Pond. Groups of faeries and herds of sullen and feral unicorn can be seen near the mystical waters. Shazahara, still astride the armored warhorse, crosses the water narrowly avoiding aggroing Seravy.
With the boost I turn Shazahara towards the huge unicorn and aim carefully before unleashing a bolt of Divine Radiance. The attack hits Seravy dead on and he begins to charge. With Shazahara on the land above the Faerie Pond the charging unicorn is unable to reach Shazahara initially, but he rushes the steps and continues his attack.
Seravy is a higher level than Shazahara and with the additional monster attacking this will be an interesting battle. Shazahara uses another Fiery Escape to get out of range of the feral unicorn she has aggroed and leaps into the water. The feral unicorn is daunted temporarily by the waters but Seravy charges right in. Shazahara is unable to use her attacks in the water! She leaps onto the land and continues to throw attacks at both Seravy and the feral unicorn. With relentless attacks Shazahara is able to subdue Seravy and his mind becomes cleared at last, but the feral unicorn will not let up in his own attack and Shazahara must wait until she fells the beast before she can approach the now calmed Seravy.
The gracebloom essence has undone the foul magic that afflicted Seravy and it is time to restore things to the way they were before the bad ones came. Seravy thanks me for restoring his mind and promises to do what he can to rebuild the peace he made long ago—Seravy just hopes that the federation and the loggers are willing to do the same. The huge unicorn asks Shazahara to speak with Volos to begin the healing process so that he can relay the message to the fey.
The map indicates that Volos is at the north end of the Faerie Pond where I can find Harsi and Aeir so Shazahara mounts up and makes her way along the edge of the waters to where the fey have set up camp. You are commenting using your WordPress.

The game didn't have the "insufficient memory texture resolution will be dropped" issue and Island of Dawn was still the start zone.
I agree, but things change, sometimes not for better. But it'll work out, or the ship'll sink, that's just how things work :S. I mean tera has been changing for years now and not for the better. I still enjoy the game, but I wish the would bring back what made it great. It had a sense of purpose, too. When TERA first released, you start off at level 20, in a doomed expedition with Elleon where you were rescued deleveled to 1 due to injury and he went missing after protecting you, and signed up to join the second expedition because you knew Elleon and - like his brother - had a personal stake in finding out what happened to him.
I still can't figure out why you were in Stepstone Isle or why the children mattered at all in the long run. I thought you were on Stepstone because you live there; it's your home. The fellow on the right was the destination for my quest. See the guy on the left? That was the quest-giver. What you need to understand is that this is actually a very typical scenario.
So, when not traveling the globe for useless chitchat, what types of awesome quests do you get to embark upon? Well, you get to mindlessly hack your way through ten creatures, pick up your next quest and kill the same ten creatures, and set out to kill those same ten creatures for the third time. In fact, a pre-launch patch allows that single button to automatically activate your skills in sequence.
