It's a remote, rural area, and the falls themselves are not near by anything, in the way you might think of proximity in a city. The closest restaurants and everything else can be found in Carlsbad, about 40 miles from the falls.
Always stop there when I'm passing through town. Local favotite, unpretentious, been there forever, and excellent food. Read all replies.
